• In 2014, Jo trained in Neurofeedback at the EEG Institute in Los Angeles with Dr Siegfried Othmer and Susan Othmer, and continues to develop her clinical training through regular attendance at the Advanced Clinical Summits held annually in Germany and America.
● In 2018 Jo trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy at the EMDR Academy in London.

Experience

Jo is a Chartered Psychologist and has been in practice since 1993. She has previously worked for a number of Local Authorities and independently. Jo’s training and experience has given her knowledge and understanding of child development and the educational, emotional and psychological requirements of children and families, including those with additional needs.

As a Neurofeedback Practitioner she has several years’ experience of working with clients of all ages and with a diverse range of difficulties and symptoms.

Experience

Lucy worked as an educational psychologist and senior educational psychologist in local authorities for 16 years before moving into private practice in 2012. Prior to training as an educational psychologist Lucy taught primary aged pupils with a range of additional educational needs in both specialist and resourced mainstream provision.She has particular interest in promoting inclusive practice in mainstream schools and was awarded the NPQH in 2006, having successfully supported a primary school in applying for the Inclusion Chartermark.

Lucy is the founder and director of South East Psychology CIC.

Rajinder is a Chartered Psychologist who has been in practice since 2009. She has worked across a range of contexts including Local Authorities, business, charities, the NHS and independently. Rajinder’s training and experience have given her knowledge and understanding of child development and the educational, emotional and psychological needs of children, young people, (including those with SEND) families and the communities they belong too.

Ryan qualified as an educational psychologist in 2014 with a Master of Educational Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. His past positions as an educational psychologist have been with the Ministry of Education NZ, Explore Specialist Advice, Focus on Potential and Kent County Council Local Authority.

Ryan is a qualified secondary school teacher with a Graduate Diploma of Teaching from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Prior to training as an educational psychologist he taught secondary aged pupils with a range of additional educational needs in both specialist and resourced mainstream provision.

Ryan has a particular interest in critical educational psychology and inclusive practices for students with additional learning needs.
